The wine landscape of the Langhe-Roero and Monferrato become a World Heritage Site.

The world’s most famous vine-clad hills have become the fiftieth Italian site to gain UNESCO recognition of its cultural landscapes, following the combined effort of both man and nature.
Skillful craftsmanship and the continuous improvement of techniques for wine grape production of Nebbiolo, Moscato and Barbera, has led to extraordinary results which are reflected in the magnificence of the landscapes.
The constant and passionate dedication of generations of people who cultivate the vineyards, according to age-old tradition and using ancient farmers’ knowledge, has made Langhe-Roero and Monferrato an area of extraordinary universal value.
